Privacy Policy

matchmyresu.me ("we", "us", "our") provides a resume-to-job-description matching service. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

2. What we do NOT collect or store

  • We never store your original resume file. It is processed in memory and discarded.
  • We do not track you across sites or use advertising cookies.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing.
  • We do not require account creation or collect your name or contact details.

3. Third-party processors

To provide the service, your data is processed by:

  • OpenAI - Resume text and job description are sent to OpenAI's API for analysis. OpenAI's API data is not used for model training. See OpenAI's Enterprise Privacy.
  • Cloudflare - Our infrastructure runs on Cloudflare Workers. Cloudflare processes requests but does not persist your resume data.

4. How we protect your data

  • All connections are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS.
  • Result access tokens are SHA-256 hashed before storage - we cannot reverse them.
  • Resume text is wiped from our database the moment analysis completes.
  • All records auto-expire and are permanently deleted after 30 days.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulations, you have the right to:

  • Access - View your analysis via your result URL.
  • Deletion - Request early deletion of your analysis by contacting us. Records auto-delete after 30 days regardless.
  • Portability - Your result data is available via your result URL for the retention period.
  • Object - You can choose not to use the service. We do not process data for purposes beyond the requested analysis.

6. Cookies

We use only a theme preference stored in your browser's localStorage. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or third-party cookies of any kind.

7. Children

This service is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
